Cool packaging design from a student in Sweden Helen Maria Bäckström! “The package is useful in several ways: it is easy to carry with, when adding water you can heat up the noodles in a microwave and eat direct from the the package which has a shape of a take-away-package when opening it” Via the lovely package
Inspired by the name itself, this packaging design by Mike-Flache focuses on elegant simplicity. The minimalist form is combined with functionality. The Cube has no cap that could fall off. Just twist the object to open/close it. Via thedieline
Fascinating packaging design concept by a student Leen Sadder! THIS toothbrush aims to repackage and promote the miswak as an organic, biodegradable, portable, more beneficial substitute for toothpaste and a toothbrush! The MISWAK is a tooth-cleaning twig used mainly in the Middle East, Pakistan and India. Traditionally, the top is bitten off with every use to reveal soft bristles similar to that of a toothbrush. Read more about it here. More info about Leen’s project here
Photographs do more than document history — they make it. Jonathan Klein of Getty Images shows some of the most iconic, and talks about what happens when a generation sees an image so powerful it can’t look away — or back!
Unlike traditional paper maps which can be awkward to deal with, the Crumpled City Map can be easily crammed into your pocket, backpack or the carrying pouch provided. What a lovely concept! Designed by Emanuele Pizzolorusso! Via the packaging of the world
