Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson

thebrainbehind did NOT ‘author’ this. It was frigging Bill Watterson, and this fact isn’t acknowledged here anywhere.

I know it’s public domain now and all, but still, the man worked hard, and he deserves recognition.

I’m curious about @InternetGnome’s comment about Calvin being public domain. I very much doubt it, unless Bill Watterson (or whoever actually owns the copyright) has decreed it as such.

Given the author’s well known feelings against Calvin being used for merchandising I’d be very surprised.
