In June 2025, a now-viral image of Tel Aviv being obliterated by a swarm of missiles flooded social media. It looked real\u2014devastating, cinematic, urgent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it was fake.
According to BBC Verify\u00a0journalist\u00a0Shayan Sardarizadeh\u00a0 <\/a>, the image was AI-generated. And yet, it ricocheted across the internet, amassing millions of impressions before truth had a chance to catch up.
A second video c<\/a>laiming to show the aftermath of Iranian strikes on Israel was traced back to footage from entirely different conflicts. It was, quite literally, yesterday\u2019s war dressed in today\u2019s fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the battlefield now:
Not just land. Not just air.
But perception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How the West Writes the Script<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While both sides\u2014Iran and Israel\u2014have weaponized visuals and emotion, the West plays a more insidious role. Its manipulation wears a tie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In The Guardian<\/a>, Nesrine Malik writes that Western leaders offer calls for “diplomacy” without ever addressing the root causes. Israel’s strikes are framed as \u201cdeterrence.\u201d Iran\u2019s retaliation is \u201caggression.\u201d Civilian suffering is background noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even so-called restraint is scripted.
Reuters<\/a> reported that Britain, France, and Germany urged Iran to return to negotiations\u2014yet all three s<\/a>imultaneously approved arm<\/a>s shipments to Israel.<\/a>
Their message is not peace.
It\u2019s obedience dressed as diplomacy. Basically, they are hypocrites <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, editorials like this one in Time express \u201cgrave alarm\u201d <\/a>at escalating tensions. But they stop short of condemning the architects of escalation. The West has a talent for watching wars it helped create\u2014then gasping at the fire.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not Just States\u2014Extremists Are Watching Too<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This conflict is not unfolding in a vacuum.
ISIS, through its al-Naba<\/em> publication, is framing both Iran and Israel as enemies of true Islam<\/a>\u2014using the chaos to stoke hatred, attract followers, and promise vengeance.
They don\u2019t need to fire a shot.
They just wait for our illusions to do the work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Truth Isn\u2019t the First Casualty\u2014It\u2019s the Target<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

So what happens when truth is no longer collateral damage, but the goal<\/em> of destruction?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 A missile hits, and we ask not where<\/em>, but which version<\/em>.
\u2013 A death toll rises, and we wonder: is it verified? real? current?<\/em>
\u2013 Leaders speak of peace while voting for war behind closed doors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this fog, apathy becomes defense. Confusion becomes allegiance.
And war becomes a franchise<\/em>\u2014a story you consume with your morning scroll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Reclaim Your Mind<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
