Immigrants coming to your country, a murder &#8230;.etc.  Suddenly, the truth is just another tab in a crowded browser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Governments know the algorithm better than any influencer. They drop bad news on Friday evenings. They pass sweeping laws during holidays. They time political moves to sync with football finals or royal weddings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This isn\u2019t chaos. It\u2019s choreography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Democracy by Misdirection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s a reason you don\u2019t hear about most controversial laws until after they\u2019ve passed. Because they weren\u2019t meant to be debated. Migration. Gender. Religion. Paedophilia. Murder <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They don\u2019t care what side you\u2019re on. They just want you picking sides. Arguing with your neighbor. Posting instead of protesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rage gets redirected. The scandal fades. The law stands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Manufactured Accountability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes, they pretend to listen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A commission is formed. A hearing is announced. An investigation begins.<br \/>Weeks pass. Months. A low-level staffer resigns. The machine keeps moving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The performance of accountability becomes the substitute for justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why It Works (And Why It Keeps Working)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The media is flooded. Truth drowns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The laws are complex. People tune out.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The scandals are constant. Outrage fades.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The public is divided. No one agrees on what matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>They don\u2019t hide the truth from us.<br \/>They flood us until we can\u2019t tell what the truth even was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Search the internet ask ChatGPT or your favourite  Ai  and you will find so <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mpsanet.org\/ruling-by-distraction\/\">many examples<\/a> for UK, USA, GREECE, BRAZIL, RUSSIA, GERMANY,  from almost everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each follows the same playbook. Different accents, same script.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You Can Do Now<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Don\u2019t follow the noise. Follow the timing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Don\u2019t ask \u201cWhat are they saying?\u201d Ask \u201cWhat are they hiding?\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Don\u2019t trust apologies. Track actions. Watch who benefits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Don\u2019t get baited into culture war theater while your rights are traded behind the curtain.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of all, <strong>don\u2019t forget<\/strong>. Their power depends on our attention span.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This isn\u2019t about left or right.
