Maybe food stores for the winter. Maybe the number of goats you own. But once you get past a few hundred, maybe a few thousand, the mental circuitry short-circuits. The numbers blur. Scale breaks.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now think about this, which easier to understand:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A million seconds? That\u2019s 12 days.<br \/>A billion seconds? That\u2019s 31 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Let it land.<br \/>Not a metaphor. Not exaggeration. Just math.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So when you hear someone is worth a billion dollars, remember:<br \/>That\u2019s <strong>thirty-one years\u2019 worth of seconds<\/strong>\u2014but in money.<br \/>Now imagine what one person could do with that.<br \/>Now imagine ten people hoarding that.<br \/>Now imagine <em>400 of them<\/em>, and you begin to understand the spell we\u2019re under.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>We throw the word &#8220;billionaire&#8221; around like it&#8217;s a badge of genius.<br \/>But it\u2019s not genius. It\u2019s gravitational collapse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A billionaire isn\u2019t just a rich person.<br \/>They are a <strong>system malfunction<\/strong>.<br \/><strong>An organism that grew so large it began consuming everything around it\u2014land, time, resources, attention, labor, politics, imagination.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scale is so broken we don\u2019t even blink anymore.<br \/>We scroll past headlines that say someone made three billion this quarter, and we just keep scrolling.<br \/>No alarm bell rings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But if we could feel what a billion really is, we would riot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s break it down. Slowly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you spent <strong>a thousand dollars a day<\/strong>, every single day, it would take you <strong>2,740 years<\/strong> to spend a billion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you gave someone <strong>one dollar every second<\/strong>, it would take <strong>31 years<\/strong> to finish the handout.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And yet, one person can &#8220;make&#8221; that in a year and still ask their employees to skip lunch breaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Does that feel right to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re not talking about envy.<br \/>This isn\u2019t about \u201crich people are bad.\u201d<br \/><strong>It\u2019s about numbers that no longer belong in a sane society<\/strong> <strong>and a healthy planet <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A billionaire isn\u2019t someone who worked harder.<br \/>They\u2019re someone who figured out how to <strong>bend the rules<\/strong>, <strong>extract value<\/strong>, <strong>avoid tax<\/strong>, and <strong>accumulate faster than time can flow<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>They don\u2019t run businesses. They run pipelines.<br \/>And what flows through those pipelines is <em>your<\/em> time, <em>your<\/em> rent, <em>your<\/em> data, <em>your<\/em> exhaustion.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s not prosperity.<br \/>That\u2019s a pyramid.<br \/>And you\u2019re at the base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve been hypnotized.<br \/>Taught to look at billionaires the way peasants once looked at kings\u2014mystified, reverent, hopeful that maybe they\u2019ll bless us with a job or a tweet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But kings at least had to fake divine right.<br \/>Billionaires just need a hoodie and a TED talk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The worst part?<br \/>We defend them.<br \/>We say, \u201cThey earned it.\u201d<br \/>As if it&#8217;s even possible to <strong>earn<\/strong> a billion dollars in a world where nurses work double shifts to afford rent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You don\u2019t <em>earn<\/em> a billion.<br \/>You extract it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s the trick:<br \/>The system keeps you chasing survival so you don\u2019t have time to question the scoreboard.<br \/>But the scoreboard is rigged.<br \/>And once you see it, you can\u2019t unsee it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A billion dollars is not success.<br \/>It\u2019s the proof that the game wasn\u2019t meant for most of us to win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>So what now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t need to hate billionaires.<br \/>But you do need to <strong>stop worshipping them<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t build your dreams in their image.<br \/><strong>Force governments to build systems where wealth flows instead of accumulates.<\/strong><br \/>Where no one hoards lifetimes.<br \/>Where no one wins alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You are not broken for struggling.<br \/><strong>Our world is broken for making that normal.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And maybe that\u2019s the real revolution.<br \/>Not rage.
