Our world undoubtedly in 2025  is completely mad and deeply sick.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Market of the Dead<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Even before the rubble cools, another industry rises.<br \/>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wired.com\/story\/a-plan-to-rebuild-gaza-lists-nearly-30-companies-many-say-theyre-not-involved\/\">Wired investigation revealed a \u201creconstruction plan\u201d <\/a>for Gaza listing Tesla, IKEA, Amazon Web Services, and two dozen others as partners in a project called the <em>GREAT Trust<\/em>.<br \/>Most of those companies say they never agreed to take part. Their logos were borrowed &#8230; or stolen..to stage legitimacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the modern war economy: destruction as revenue stream, reconstruction as rebrand.<br \/>First you sell the bombs.<br \/>Then you sell the blueprints.<br \/>The same hands that armed the slaughter now offer to rebuild the ruins &#8230;. for a fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>War has always been business.<br \/>But now it comes with pitch decks, hashtags, and venture-capital optimism.<br \/>It calls itself \u201csustainable development.\u201d<br \/>It prints hope in PowerPoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Theater of Forgetting<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>What terrifies most is not the violence.<br \/>It\u2019s the speed of amnesia.<br \/>Our moral attention span has been trained to refresh every six seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We hear \u201ccollateral damage\u201d instead of \u201cchildren buried.\u201d<br \/>We see \u201chumanitarian corridor\u201d and forget the graves beneath it.<br \/>A press release replaces a prayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/c709jxxrrvlo\">This is how civilization digests atrocity:<\/a><br \/>rename it, reframe it, sell it back as progress.<br \/>A world that cannot feel becomes a market that cannot fail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Old Empire, New Interface<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Every empire tells the same story.<br \/>Its weapons bring order.<br \/>Its bombs bring democracy.<br \/>Its capital brings light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only the branding changes.<br \/>Now drones are \u201cdefensive technology.\u201d<br \/>Rebuilding contracts are \u201cinnovation ecosystems.\u201d<br \/>Influencers film \u201cresilience journeys\u201d amid ruins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But no algorithm can erase what the ground remembers.<br \/>Every crater keeps its coordinates.<br \/>Every demolished school whispers its pupils\u2019 names.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If this is civilization, what does barbarism even look like?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Comfort of Complicity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe the true scandal isn\u2019t that leaders sell weapons to governments accused of genocide.<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2025\/oct\/14\/what-issues-still-to-be-resolved-gaza-ceasefire-deal\">It\u2019s that we keep scrolling.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve outsourced conscience to algorithms.<br \/>We consume outrage like caffeine &#8230;. one shot, then numb.<br \/>Our empathy has become seasonal content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And yet the architects of this order count on that fatigue.<br \/>They know silence is the softest weapon of all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Reckoning<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Every war leaves two things: the bodies and the narrative.<br \/>Whoever controls the second can justify the first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But this time the mask slipped.<br \/>The confession was too casual, too clear.<br \/>History might remember that moment not as a gaffe, but as a mirror.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Because when a leader praises another for \u201cusing weapons well,\u201d<br \/>he defines a civilization that has lost the meaning of \u201cwell.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will rebuild Gaza&#8230; yes.<br \/>But what will rebuild us?<br \/>What blueprint restores conscience once it\u2019s bombed out of us?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>If There Is Any Hope Left<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It lies in refusing the script.<br \/>In naming complicity where power calls it policy.<br \/>In remembering when forgetting is cheaper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because the line between confession and propaganda is now a single click wide.<br \/>And the world, for all its technology, still runs on stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next chapter is being written.<br \/>The question is who will hold the pen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How Confession Became the New Weapon of War When a president boasts, \u201cHe asked me for weapons I\u2019d never heard of &#8230;. and he used them well,\u201dhe isn\u2019t revealing intelligence.He\u2019s confessing complicity.
