The inheritance.<br \/>As if that carries forward on its own.<br \/>It doesn\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What matters is how power behaves on an ordinary day.<br \/>Not in speeches. In decisions.<br \/>Which rules get enforced.<br \/>Which ones quietly don\u2019t.<br \/>Who gets access.<br \/>Who gets investigated.<br \/>Which story runs.<br \/>Which one never quite makes it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s where the picture changes.<br \/>Nothing dramatic breaks. No visible rupture.<br \/>A story gets softened before it lands.<br \/>A regulator moves slower than it should.<br \/>Pressure shows up, just not in the same places every time.<br \/>The system keeps its shape.
