A Film by Emlly Noy and Tom Madar. A day in the life of a young woman living a silent, lonely life with her friend the fish. The silence is broken when a new tenant comes to live in the apartment next door. Notwithstanding the constant sounds and noise penetrating through the other side of the wall and perhaps because of them, the young woman finds herself falling in love with her neighbor.

A lady enters the ladies room and gets carried away into an endless choreography of self criticism in front of the mirror following the other ladies. The film tries to present the absurdity of the society’s impact on the individual, and it is an allegory for the internal need of liberation standing against the desire to get closer to the ideal of beauty. Face-o-mat
The social machine out of cardboard creates a humorous interactive experience. It’s an analogue portrait machine with a photo booth principle. The backend of Face-o-mat is covered with reference images to create a facelift. Through the facelift, one can be drawn as an animal hybrid or one can choose to simply get a really nice portrait.
