It’s some lyrics from and old French Children’s song mixed with and a pun with a well known French proverb :

    “Let’s stroll in the woods
While the wolf is not here.” (children’s song)

    “Don’t sell the wolf’s hide,
Before burning it.” (The proverb being “don’t sell the bear’s hide before killing it”)

    “”Let’s stroll in the woods
While the wolf is not here.
    If the wolf was here
I would eat it” (children’s song)(The last line is also a play on the real lyrics, them being, “He would eat us”)

Also, the title is a pun,
“Fin de loup”, means litteraly “The end of the wolf” (more or less :)), which is a word play with “faim de loup”, which means “a wolf’s hunger”.
Fin and faim having the same pronounciation.

    Voilà !
    Sorry for my English.
