An awesome new platform that “mixes hand-drawing with digital features by projecting a digital layer on top of sketches” Impressive or what? Designed & developed for the ConceptLab !

it’s a god damn projector. -_-
Cool thing …………….
Just a fancy document camera. I would be impressed if it actually did something other than just taking a picture of your drawings.
I really don’t see any of you coming up with anything better. Truthfully if you were not impressed you should have navigated away and left the comments alone. You dumbass motherfuckers.
I think it’s much faster than having to flip back and forth between pages if you’re making a cartoon film!
Cool idea!
@ Notimpressed, Why would we not express dislike or disinterest? They would produce any piece of rubbish if only the people that liked them spoke up for the masses.
Go lick a toad.
Wow. it a fucking projector.
well, id like one of those, sure does seem useful. anyone else impressed at how shockingly bad that girl/guys pictures are even with this?
well done you spent AGES drawing some building outlines and sun with a smiley face in the middle
prick
Clearly some of you missed the point of this experimental process. Although, the illustrations that were demonstrated could be considered a bit juvenile, the actual user interaction is whats interesting here. This is obviously a tool that could be explored in more depth, especially with the advent of augmented reality (AR) devices in everybody’s hands. Everybody has an iPhone or android OS phone now. The easy bridge to make between this idea and AR is clearly to bring incorporate the two into a visual reproduction system that easily allows multiple drawings to be created in real time and augmented to the designers will.
Imagine being able to sketch something and quickly and easily be able to load it as a 2d or even 3d illustration. then use that illustration to project and create a more dynamic example of what it is/can do. The ability to quickly build on an idea in both reality and digital space at the same time is a phenomenal concept. And one that needs to be further explored. If your to closed minded to see that then clearly you need not comment. What would be an interesting step forward would be the integration of something simular to the 360’s kinect system. Registering 3d information into the computer in real time and then being able to design around that and even interact with it, now that would be cool.
where can you buy this?
not big deal.. =/
everyone that doesnt appreciate this is a dumbass apparently you dont understand how much time this simple machine increases productivity. you can make a simple drawing in a fraction of the time.
