A wildly popular Afghan call-in show, The Night of the Lovers, is inspiring an entire country to think about love and relationships in a new way. For many who grew up under Taliban rule, this is their first experience with love – or at least the modern definition of it. Matter asked illustrators Isabelle Aspin and Brian Smee to animate one of these stories.
