Whether it’s within our own homes, the same neighbourhood and on the other side of the world it’s „Call me”, „Text me” or „See you on Skype”. The advance of technology has redefined the concept of interpersonal relations. Technology makes our life easier but almost imperceptibly our lives have gradually become dependent on it. Does technology enrich our lives or make them more superficial? Or does technology give our lives a whole new meaning? Modern Closeness, is a photographic journey by Jingis Mat ,documenting effect the advance of technology has on our lives and on the way we humans relate to one another.
