Yet another brilliant supercut by kogonada

You have probably seen this already! The title of this video by Joe Pease comes from this essay – yhoo.it/IBn2mK – which contains paragraphs such as, “It is not uncommon for children to play with their shadows or to imagine that they are tangible. However, in order to grow up, children must leave behind this fantasy…no one ever fully grows up. Instead, growing up is a process that continues throughout life.” Of course, it might just be a bunch of shadows. Music by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis.

A short film directed by Cristina Molino

Usually I’m not that political..but this documentary is very interesting to watch and very well made! It tells the story of how bankers and politicians take down nations one after the other and buy up their resources with fraudulent debt derivatives. Basically its the current story of Greece and of the south European countries! Interesting points are raised by Naomi Klein and many others! If you have an hour to spend! Make sure that you watch it! More info about it along with the credits here

In a world where people have forgotten how to laugh, a government-created class teaches people how to do just that.A frank, no-nonsense teacher (Barry Bostwick) welcomes students to his class and introduces a series of exercises designed to help them relearn how to laugh. Coming from different walks of life, these students must overcome all the negative aspects of their lives – job loss, marital dissatisfaction, and being really, really old – to learn how to laugh again. Created by Eli Berg
